Our Sales Operations Team plays a crucial role in driving our business forward, and we are seeking a motivated Commercial Operations Analyst to support our efforts. This role is a great fit for someone early in their career who is curious, eager to learn, and comfortable engaging directly with a fast-paced enterprise sales team, although prior sales operations experience is not required. As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will partner closely with our sales team to support their day-to-day needs, help maintain reporting and forecasting for your assigned product line using existing data and tools, and assist with cross-functional projects. You'll be trained on our systems and processes; what we're looking for is the mindset - someone analytical, proactive, and unafraid to engage with senior sales stakeholders.

Your impact:

Sales Support and Enablement

  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand their needs and challenges. Provide tools, training, and resources to help them effectively execute the go-to-market strategy and improve their productivity.

  • Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact for the sales team - comfortable following up with and pushing back on senior stakeholders when needed to get things done.

  • Assist in evaluating and enhancing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Help implement best practices and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Support the administration of the CRM system (Salesforce) for your assigned product line. Help ensure data integrity and provide basic training and support to the sales team. (Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required.)

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to sales operations.

Sales Tools & Technology Evaluation

  • Support the evaluation, piloting, and rollout of new sales tools (e.g., conversational intelligence, deal health/scoring, AI-assisted tools) - from initial evaluation through adoption with the sales team.

  • Partner with IT/vendor stakeholders as needed during tool evaluation and implementation.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Maintain and update sales dashboards and reports for your assigned product line, using existing data sources and established analytics infrastructure.

  • Support pipeline forecasting for your product line, working from data and models already in place.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, conversion rates, and sales cycle metrics.

  • Assist with ad-hoc analyses and help translate findings into clear, actionable takeaways for the sales team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support the planning and delivery of commercial projects and programs, such as sales campaigns, OKR deliverables, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Participate in cross-functional efforts with technical and business SMEs to help identify and refine business requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to optimize processes and workflows.

What you bring:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a sales-facing, client-facing, or other stakeholder-facing role; examples include SDR/BDR or junior AE, sales coordination, deal desk, sales enablement, client services/account management, FP&A business partner, or consulting.  What matters most is a demonstrated ability and willingness to engage directly with a sales team, not a specific title.

  • A curious, motivated, ownership-oriented mindset - we can teach tools and process; we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and takes initiative.

  • Comfort and confidence initiating with and following up with senior, busy stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience in or exposure to the healthcare industry a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
