Job description

Speaks Law Firm is seeking a professional and dependable Remote Part-Time Receptionist to join our team.  In this role, you will be an important first point of contact for clients and callers. We are looking for someone with experience handling a high volume of incoming calls who can communicate clearly, stay organized, and provide a positive, professional experience.  Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates must be available to work part-time within these hours. Our highest call-volume periods are typically Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
No phone calls or recruiter inquiries, please.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Operate a multi-line phone system in a high-volume setting
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Take accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate team members in a timely manner
  • Provide courteous, helpful service to clients, prospective clients, and other callers
  • Assist with other reception and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least two (2) years of customer service or receptionist experience
  • Experience managing high-volume, multi-line telephone systems required
  • Prior law firm or similar professional-office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills
  • A willingness to support team members and assist where needed
  • Professional, reliable work ethic
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
Compensation
This is a part-time, hourly position starting at $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
