To thrive as a Remote Performance Marketing Specialist, you need a strong background in digital marketing strategy, data analysis, and campaign optimization, often supported by a degree in marketing or related experience. Familiarity with ad platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and certifications like Google Ads or Facebook Blueprint are highly valuable. Job description

About Kustomer
Kustomer is the industry leading conversational CRM platform perfecting every customer experience. Built with intelligent tools such as AI and Automation, no code-configuration and a connected data platform that unifies data from multiple sources through a single timeline, Kustomer empowers businesses to operate with greater efficiency and deliver more personalized service to customers across any channel, making every interaction more meaningful and memorable. Today, Kustomer is the core platform for some of the leading customer service brands like Sweetgreen, Starz, Vuori, Resy and Cotopaxi.
Kustomer was founded in 2015 by serial entrepreneurs Brad Birnbaum and Jeremy Suriel and has raised over $230M in funding backed by leading VCs. Meta announced its intention to acquire Kustomer in 2020 and completed the transaction in 2022. Kustomer joined Meta's Business Messaging Group to transform the way people and businesses communicate through modern messaging channels.
In 2023, Kustomer spun out from Meta as a standalone company backed by original partners, Battery, Redpoint and Boldstart Ventures, who have invested $60M. In 2025, Kustomer announced a $30M Series B led by Norwest, with continued support from Battery, Redpoint, and boldstart. This milestone reflects strong conviction in our vision and fuels our next chapter of growth: expanding our AI-native platform, accelerating product innovation, and scaling our exceptional team.
Our Krew is made up of passionate and collaborative people who really care about what they do and the people they help. We look for people who are passionate about enhancing the customer service experience for everyone involved, as it's the core of what we do. We're growing our business with no plans of slowing down. We actively seek individuals who want to learn and be challenged every day. We have also transitioned to a remote friendly company, with Krew members located throughout the U.S. and U.K. coming together for Kamp Kustomer each year.
About the Role
Kustomer is hiring a Performance Marketing Lead to join our Marketing team. Our Marketing team efficiently drives pipeline growth, accelerating revenue, and building scalable acquisition systems across paid, organic, and product-led channels.
As a Performance Marketing Lead, you will own and scale our paid acquisition engine across channels like Google, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. You'll focus on driving measurable pipeline impact while continuously improving efficiency across the funnel.
This role goes beyond traditional campaign management. You'll leverage AI to accelerate creative production, optimize targeting, and automate campaign execution. You'll also partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Content to ensure alignment between acquisition strategy and revenue outcomes. We're looking for someone who combines an AI-first mindset with a deep understanding of how paid media drives pipeline in B2B SaaS.
You'll be responsible for:
  • Designing and building scalable acquisition systems across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels
  • Strategic and repeatable delivery of consistent MQL pipeline
  • Developing automated workflows for campaign creation, optimization, and reporting using APIs and AI tools
  • Creating high-velocity experimentation frameworks across ads, landing pages, and funnel conversion points
  • Leveraging LLMs and AI tools to generate, test, and iterate on ad creatives and messaging at scale
  • Building and maintaining marketing data pipelines (e.g., connecting CRM, product data, and ad platforms)
  • Analyzing funnel performance, attribution, and conversion trends
  • Partnering with RevOps, Sales, and Product to improve lead quality, routing, and conversion rates
  • Optimizing conversion rates across the website and key funnel steps (visitor โ†’ lead โ†’ opportunity)
  • Identifying and testing new acquisition channels, including emerging AI-native platforms
  • Supporting and enhancing signal-based and intent-driven marketing programs

Your qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing or demand generation in B2B SaaS
  • Depth of expertise in traditional and breakthrough demand generation principles and practices, including but not limited to PPC, Outbound, CRO, how to reach the right audience, and campaign measurement and optimization
  • Experience working with AI-forward products or marketing AI-driven solutions
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue (not just leads) from paid channels
  • Deep understanding of attribution, funnel metrics, and B2B buying journeys
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills - you have the ability to come up with new and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, as well as solve problems that may arise during the execution of marketing campaigns using new technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with marketing tech stacks such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Clearbit, Apollo, Navattic, and Asana
  • Experience experimenting with and using AI tools for campaign optimization, creative generation, and workflow automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in CX and/or AI-native SaaS companies
  • Experience with CRO and landing page optimization
