The Role
We're looking for an Associate Director to own Amazon DSP (demand-side platform) strategy and execution for a large-scale portfolio account. In addition, you'll also be director-level support for managers across 2-3 other full-funnel retail accounts, as well as help the wider team sharpen how they plan and execute across retail DSP.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $100,000 - $115,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state's salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

You Will Be
  • Accountable for full-funnel Amazon DSP strategy, planning, and execution across a large-scale portfolio account.
  • Supporting managers at a director-level across several other accounts across Amazon Sponsored Ads, DSP, and other retailers (Walmart, Target, Criteo)
  • Designing, implementing, and managing ad spend across campaigns, while having a full grasp of how different ad types work together to further our client's goals.
  • Monitoring daily trends, opportunities, and spend across multiple brands
  • Proactively communicating with clients about account health, ad performance, sales, best practices, potential opportunities, and developing action plans to improve results
  • Working in a dynamic, time-intensive environment where competing priorities are commonplace. Previous agency experience preferred.
  • Closely monitoring competitors and category trends
  • Auditing prospective Amazon accounts and identifying areas for improvement to assist in the sales process
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of new or emerging trends within Amazon and other marketplaces
  • Tasked with some special projects as needed to help the growth of the department

You Must Have
  • 7+ years in digital media, with deep hands-on Amazon DSP planning and execution experience.
  • Real programmatic fluency - PMP vs OMP, inventory deals, audience strategy, and inventory decisions.
  • Command of the full Amazon ecosystem: DSP, Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display, plus AMC.
  • Experience working with or at a brand with $5M+ in annual Amazon budget
  • A track record leading large, complex, or multi-brand accounts.
  • Experience with 3P optimization tools (Pacvue, Skai, Gigi, etc)
  • Great communication skills, both written and oral, with a strong attention to detail
  • Extremely well organized, able to balance client timelines and business needs across multiple clients
  • Work comfortably in dynamic, time-intensive environments where competing priorities are commonplace
  • Ability to manage client expectations and priorities
  • Experience presenting to senior-level client contacts
  • The ability to explain the nuances of Amazon clearly and concisely
  • Working experience of Vendor and Seller Central
  • An understanding and experience with optimizing product detail pages, including titles, key features, and A+ content.
  • Knowledge about how Amazon marketing and performance affect the purchase funnel
  • An understanding of Amazon account operations, logistics, and the fees that may be associated with them
  • Working knowledge of other e-commerce marketplaces outside of Amazon
