Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and build the learning experiences that form the foundation of the Energy Industries Academy. Each day, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Sales Enablement, Product Groups, and business stakeholders to transform expert knowledge into engaging, scalable, and measurable learning solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by creating role-based learning pathways, certification programmes, and digital learning content that accelerate capability development and business performance across Energy Industries.

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries Academy, Commercial Excellence & Sales Enablement within Energy Industries (EN). Main stakeholders include SMEs, Sales Enablement teams, Product Groups, business leaders, trainers, HR teams, and Academy learners across global regions


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Designing and developing role-based learning pathways, curricula, certification journeys, and learning experiences aligned to business priorities and competency frameworks.
  • Creating engaging learning assets including e-learning modules, videos, learning guides, assessments, facilitator resources, and job aids across digital, virtual, self-paced, and instructor-led formats.
  • Establishing and maintaining Academy design standards, templates, methodologies, and governance processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.
  • Using learner feedback, engagement metrics, and business insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness, certification programmes, and learner experiences across the Academy.


Qualifications for the role

  • You have experience in instructional design, learning design, curriculum development, learning & development, or capability development.
  • You are highly skilled in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, learning pathway development, and curriculum design.
  • You have proven experience creating engaging digital and blended learning solutions and developing content in partnership with Subject Matter Experts.
  • You are passionate about creating engaging learner experiences and simplifying complex technical or business concepts into scalable learning solutions.
  • You possess strong content authoring, communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • You are innovative around modern learning approaches, AI-enabled content creation, and digital learning technologies, with the ability to build future-ready learning programmes.
  • You are at ease communicating in English. Experience within industrial, engineering, automation, technology, sales, or commercial environments would be advantageous
