Job description

A leading company dedicated to developing innovative learning solutions is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful training programs across diverse modalities. Fully remote.


Instructional Design Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training programs and materials utilizing the ADDIE framework.
  • Create engaging learning experiences across instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, eLearning, blended, and digital formats.
  • Develop comprehensive course content, including storyboards, facilitator guides, assessments, and job aids.
  • Conduct needs analyses and partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Manage learning projects from scoping and planning to deployment and evaluation, supporting continuous improvement.


Instructional Design Specialist Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Proven experience applying the full ADDIE model to various training programs.
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Camtasia, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and organization.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in instructional design and development, with a portfolio of work.
