Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote therapy services to clients across Virginia. In this role, you will meet with individuals, couples, and families through a secure telehealth platform, helping clients work through relationship concerns, communication challenges, life transitions, stress, and emotional health needs.

Position Details

Location: Virginia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families
  • Complete intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
  • Help clients address relationship stress, family conflict, anxiety, depression, grief, and life changes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Use secure telehealth tools to deliver care in a professional and confidential setting
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when appropriate
  • Follow all ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards for telehealth care

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Active Virginia LMFT license in good standing
  • Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
