Amsted Rail is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to support HR systems across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with a primary focus on UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management. This remote role requires occasional travel to company sites and reports to the Manager, HRIS.
The position is intended to attract experienced HRIS talent; final title/level may be aligned to the selected candidate's demonstrated qualifications and experience.
In this role, you will help manage, improve, and support key HR systems while partnering with HR, Payroll, Operations, and governance teams to deliver an efficient, accurate, compliant, and user-friendly experience.
What You'll Do
  • Support and enhance UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, including configuration, troubleshooting, day-to-day administration, and recurring production support activities.
  • Manage timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, security access, and employee data with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations to resolve issues, improve processes, and support business needs.
  • Participate in system updates, testing, implementations, reporting, project planning, change support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and deliver documentation, training materials, and user guidance for new processes, functionality, and system users to support adoption and ongoing success.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, including hands-on configuration and system administration.
  • Strong experience with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management.
  • Knowledge of timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, security access, and HR/Payroll processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment using qualitative and quantitative information, and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with union or collective bargaining agreement configurations.
  • Experience working in Human Resources or Payroll and with key U.S. regulations
  • Familiarity with reporting and automation tools such as Power BI or Power Automate.
  • Interest in current HRIS trends, product capabilities, user groups, or other professional development channels.

Job title and level alignment may be adjusted prior to hiring and will be determined based on demonstrated experience, HRIS depth, and ability to operate independently.
