Overview
As a Digital Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting actionable insights from diverse data sources to fuel our digital growth. The Digital Analytics team plays a critical role in helping cross functional partners understand the drivers of site performance while providing actionable insights to drive future strategy across online merchandising, web product management and desktop and mobile shopping experience.
S/he is responsible for using multiple business intelligence systems to support digital merchandising, homepage, and ecommerce operations teams mine data and make conclusions on key performance indicators. S/he will contribute to the company's broader vision to move to a customer-centric approach to ecommerce retailing. S/he will be responsible for evolving high-level strategic direction into actions. S/he is comfortable with ambiguity and able to provide insightful and actionable recommendations that change the business. S/he will manage ad-hoc analysis requests, generate insights by diving deeper into data, communicate the findings to the organization and influence various stakeholders and leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Utilize Adobe Analytics, SQL, Tableau to create reports
• Analyze web analytics and other data to identify trends and provide insights to optimize digital merchandising strategies
• Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests across digital channels, translating results into actionable insights
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting in Tableau to track performance and inform decision-making
• Support and oversee analytics implementation (tagging, event tracking, data quality across platforms like Adobe Launch, GA4/GTM)
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, CRM, and Media teams to define measurement plans and optimize performance
He/she will play a critical role in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive decision-making throughout the organization
• The person must be comfortable working with partner teams, conducting both planned and ad hoc analyses
• Collaborate with business, technology, and analytics partners to determine data needs and establish data collection requirements based on those needs
• Generate insight from digital data and proactively communicate opportunities or issues
• Leverage analytics to continuously recommend optimization tactics that will improve product performance
• Utilize business and analytical expertise to independently perform proactive analysis and solve business problems that business partners may sometimes not know they have
• Discover areas of opportunity for data improvement and follow-through to see those improvements implemented
• Use statistical rigor to solidify validity of findings and be able to explain those concepts to non-experts
• Independently seek out additional information to round out analyses and confirm assumptions
Qualifications
• Stellar SQL and MS Excel skills
• 2+ years digital analytics experience
• Adobe Analytics experience preferred
• Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making
• Understanding of Digital and Ecommerce terminology
• Knowledge of statistical testing methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in analytical/quantitative field - e.g. statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics, finance, engineering, etc
