The Royal Caribbean Group's Digital Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Digital Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth Strategy & Analytics.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.
The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Influences business decisions through analytics and identifies actionable, data-driven insights. Makes recommendations and influences the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to a cross functional group as well as department executives.
  • Responsible for contributing analytical and data support for the development of strategic business plans. This might include strategies on product feature prioritization, baseline assessment & tracking for key performance indicators, as well as evaluating the revenue and/or guest satisfaction impact of potential changes.
  • Proactively uncovers trends and anomalies, develops root cause analysis to understand relationships and presents actionable insights to drive feature enhancements or operational improvements.
  • Works autonomously and with little direction to complete assignments, coordinating business processes, programs and projects based on the outlined strategies and defined directives.
  • Aggregates large data sets in Tableau, SAS, Excel, and other analytical tools for analysis. Develops data strategies specifically around data structures, identifying critical information, as well as the tools used to retrieve and analyze the data. Performs research and analysis on large data sets - data exploration, trending, modeling, etc.
  • Works with management & other team members to understand & clarify data analysis and reporting needs. Provides guidance and insight on data visualization options for report design.
  • Creates dashboards, automated reports, report templates and presentations. Uses advanced data visualization tools, such as Tableau/Power BI, to provide an easy to understand interface for end users to quickly identify key themes within data. Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting on business trends and the status of digital experience initiatives for senior management.
  • Ensures our business intelligence tools (i.e. dashboards, self-service portal, etc.) scale, are easy to maintain and serve the needs (routine and ad hoc analyses) of the Digital program.
  • Collaborates with Data Engineers to build robust data pipelines and tables to provide timely and accurate information and meet business reporting needs.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) required with a degree focus on Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline preferred
  • MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience required, with experience performing either strategic digital analysis, financial analysis, or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred
  • Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of economic & financial concepts, as well as demonstrate a mastery of some analytical tools
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret performance data from multiple sources & potentially consisting of advanced statistical output
  • Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make tactical decisions with large financial impacts with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Tableau/Power BI & Excel with proven ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Working experience with SQL, R, Python, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent technologies
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification
  • Attention to detail required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment
  • Ability to operate in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills
