Job Description
The Head of Digital position is a Senior Director-level role. You will lead clients' paid digital media efforts across various campaigns and initiatives to drive efficient results. Reporting to the Owner of The Spark Group, you will manage a team of digital analysts and content strategists who work closely together to deliver excellent digital marketing services to our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct the development and execution of multi-channel digital media strategies, working with internal teams to ensure marketing strategies are integrated.
  • Accountable for digital plan output timeliness, accuracy, scope, and overall excellence.
  • Present and communicate media & social strategies, plans, and executions to client partners.
  • Accountable for media pacing and budget with assistance from Senior Digital Analyst.
  • Apply an expert understanding of analytics and measurement tools/techniques to provide media strategy support team, and to client and internal marketing goals.
  • Responsible for managing a high-performing team, including individual development, performance management, training, development, and mentorship.
  • Participate in new business pitches and development as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 or more years of related experience in a marketing, advertising and/or communications function, to include at least 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: social marketing, search marketing, email marketing, or full digital campaign management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a comprehensive paid media plan across multiple digital touchpoints. Ecommerce industry experience is a plus.
  • 4 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing, and/or developing teams required.
