Associate, Digital Marketing
The Ounce of Prevention Fund is oneof Chicago's most energized, future-focused organizations devoted to earlychildhood development.

Reportingto the Director, Digital Marketing you will:
  • Review, copy edit, and publish web content for the Ounce.org
  • Execute email sends for the National and Illinois Policy teams, helping to maintain list health, provide email analytics and recommendations based on performance
  • Execute social media content (organic) and community management; maintain up-to-date channel analytics to measure and monitor growth, reach and engagement.
  • Manage email and social content calendars to help maintain timely and balanced communications across audiences
  • Act as lead digital support for Educare Chicago digital properties (social and web-based)
  • Oversee and execute tracking for digital marketing campaigns including creation of URLs and source codes

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications major preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in digital, including website maintenance, social media and email execution; non-profit experience a plus
  • WordPress, Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget), Adobe Creative experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies and execution best practices
  • Experience in digital execution including:
  • Competent in creating, managing, and organizing web content
  • Experience with email marketing execution
  • Community manager experience across a variety of social platforms
  • Experience using digital analytics tools and comfortable pulling reporting data and finding actionable insights
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools
  • Strong ability to plan and prioritize assignments and manage deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage relationships with internal clients/colleagues and external partners professionally.
  • A problem solver who shows initiative, works independently and as part of a team; is flexible and adapts easily to new situations
