In your role as an LCSW, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to better understand patients’ mental health histories and needs, laying the groundwork for effective treatment planning.
• Develop detailed treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and solutions tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Offer various therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusting techniques based on patient response and progress.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and targeted care to each client.
• Engage in routine case consultations and peer review meetings, promoting continuous learning and quality enhancement in therapy practices.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health concerns, treatment options, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Stay updated on the latest mental health research and trends, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice to maintain cutting-edge care.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mental health issues linked to substance use and recovery. This includes adults from various backgrounds seeking support through detoxification and related therapeutic interventions. Your commitment to culturally competent care will play a crucial role in ensuring that all patients feel respected, understood, and actively participate in their treatment journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, specifically providing psychotherapy services.
• Strong proficiency in solution-focused therapy interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and colleagues.

• Annual salary between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience.
