Navia Behavioral and Psychological Center is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team remotely. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals struggling with various psychological disorders. This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and a positive work-life balance. Our telehealth facility ensures that you can conduct meaningful therapy through secure video conferencing, providing you with the necessary technology to deliver effective treatment from the comfort of your home. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility expected to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the distinct needs of patients and develop customized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, to facilitate effective treatment for individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups designed to foster understanding of mental health issues and build a supportive community among participants.
• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic and integrated care tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Provide crisis intervention support, guiding patients through critical moments of mental health emergencies with compassion and skill.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, viable treatment options, and effective community resources available to aid their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with both legal standards and ethical practices.
• Actively participate in case consultation meetings, team discussions, and ongoing professional development to foster continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health therapy to enhance your practice and contribute to the organization's success.

At Navia, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, and addiction. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering resilience, and aiding their journey toward improved mental health.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in California.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and best practices for evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively conduct mental health assessments and formulate actionable treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse populations, showcasing versatility and cultural competence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication abilities, providing a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Sound judgment with adherence to professional ethics and privacy standards in all aspects of practice.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework, contributing to collaborative patient-centered care.

• Experience in telehealth delivery of mental health services, particularly with remote assessment and therapy modalities.
• Previous work within outpatient psychiatric settings or community mental health services.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic approaches such as trauma-informed care or mindfulness-based interventions.
