Job description

Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc.(HTWP), the premier manufacturer of fire-retardant treated wood, is seeking a Regional Business Manager/Florida. This position is responsible for growing profitable sales through HTWP’s network of wholesale distribution partners and other sales channels.
Responsibilities
  • Create, present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Conducting Product Knowledge sessions in the field
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Surveying Distributors, Wholesalers, Retailers, Drywall Supply Houses, and the occasional job site
  • Gauging and reporting fire retardant treated wood volume and market share
  • Promoting HTWP’s products using Design and Construction Guide on sales calls
  • Common uses
  • Technical information
  • Promoting Hoover stocking Distributors to Retailers in all markets
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of outside sales success is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of commodity lumber and plywood markets
  • Building product channel sales and lumber or plywood sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must possess the technical acumen to to convey the varied product and service benefits that define the HTWP brand.

Requirements
  • Willingness to travel (overnight) extensively across the state of Florida.
