Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Executive Recruiter for a hybrid position based near one of our primary locations in Delaware or Florida.
The Executive Recruiter will lead the full-cycle recruitment process for executive-level positions (Assistant Vice President and above, as well as other critical leadership roles as needed) across the Nemours Health System. This role serves as a strategic partner to senior leaders and executive candidates, delivering a best-in-class recruitment and onboarding experience.
As the subject matter expert in executive recruitment, the Executive Recruiter leverages a deep understanding of organizational priorities to identify, attract, and assess highly qualified and diverse leadership talent. Key responsibilities include guiding stakeholders through every stage of the search process, facilitating effective interview experiences, negotiating offers, and managing relationships with external executive search firms to ensure successful outcomes.
Working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Compensation, and business leaders, this individual develops targeted recruitment strategies for complex, hard-to-fill, and high-visibility leadership positions. The role also supports workforce planning initiatives by aligning talent acquisition strategies with organizational growth and transformation objectives.
As the primary point of contact for executive-level requisitions, the Executive Recruiter ensures recruitment processes consistently meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Success in this role requires exceptional client service, strong strategic advisory skills, and superior account management. The Executive Recruiter provides a white-glove experience for both candidates and hiring leaders, ensuring a seamless process from sourcing through onboarding.
Essential Functions:
Executive Sourcing & Talent Strategy
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for pediatric healthcare leadership roles.
Partner with senior leaders to define success profiles, leadership competencies, and organizational culture alignment.
Build and maintain pipelines of high-caliber pediatric talent through targeted outreach, networking, professional associations, and market mapping.
Leverage recruitment analytics, market intelligence, and data-driven insights to advise hiring leaders and optimize search strategies.
Candidate Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct behavioral, competency-based, and values-aligned interviews tailored to pediatric healthcare leadership roles.
Partner with clinical leaders and HR teams to coordinate assessment tools, case presentations, and stakeholder interview panels.
Provide thoughtful, evidence-based candidate recommendations aligned with the organization's mission, care standards, and leadership expectations.
Stakeholder Partnership
Partner with hiring leaders on search strategy, position design, compensation insights, and competitive market trends.
Guide leaders through structured interview processes that reduce bias and promote a positive candidate experience.
Provide regular updates to executives and leadership teams on search progress, market feedback, and potential challenges.
Champion the organization's mission and values while promoting a compelling and inclusive employer brand.
Implement proactive strategies to strengthen leadership pipelines and hiring practices.
Build and maintain relationships with pediatric and healthcare leadership communities nationwide.
Process Management & Operational Excellence
Lead end-to-end search execution, including interview coordination, travel arrangements, candidate communications, and executive scheduling.
Manage finalist debriefs, reference checks, compensation alignment, and offer negotiations.
Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience by partnering with HR, operations, and hiring leaders to support executive success.
White-Glove Recruitment & Candidate Care
Deliver a high-touch executive recruitment experience through exceptional communication, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, providing clarity, support, and transparency throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

Strong candidate sourcing experience preferred
Recruiter and/or sourcing certifications or Sourcing experience with (CIR, RACR, Social Talent, Linked-in Recruiter, Hire EZ etc.) preferred
Must be able to travel to other Nemours locations based on need.
