POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for the overall success and profitability of the restaurant. This role provides leadership and oversight to the General Manager and management team while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and alignment with company goals. The Business Manager serves as the strategic leader of the business, balancing guest satisfaction, team development, and financial results.Â

SUPERVISES: Hospitality General Manager (GM)Â
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business & Financial Management
- Â Oversee overall restaurant profitability, financial performance, and business operationsÂ
- Â Manage budgets, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and operating expensesÂ
- Â Review financial reports and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvementÂ
- Â Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and operational efficiencyÂ
Leadership & Team Development
- Â Directly supervise, coach, and support the General ManagerÂ
- Â Establish performance expectations and accountability for restaurant leadershipÂ
- Â Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies for management positionsÂ
- Â Foster a positive culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagementÂ
- Â Support leadership development and succession planning effortsÂ
Operational Oversight
- Â Ensure the General Manager and leadership team execute company standards consistentlyÂ
- Â Monitor guest satisfaction, service quality, cleanliness, and operational performanceÂ
- Â Conduct regular reviews of restaurant operations and implement corrective actions when neededÂ
- Â Ensure proper execution of opening, closing, and operational proceduresÂ
- Â Maintain alignment between Front-of-House and Back-of-House operationsÂ
Compliance & Risk Management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Â 5+ years of restaurant management, hospitality leadership, or business management experienceÂ
- Â Proven experience leading managers and developing high-performing teamsÂ
- Â Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost managementÂ
- Â Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Â Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesÂ
- Â Ability to balance strategic planning with operational executionÂ
- Â Working knowledge of scheduling, inventory, POS systems, and financial reportingÂ
- Â ServSafe Manager certification preferredÂ
