Recruiting Operations Contractor (Onsite)

Location: Albion, IN (Onsite at Client Facility)

Employment Type: 6-12 week Contract


About the Opportunity

MAU is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Recruiting Operations Contractor to support talent acquisition activities at a client site in Albion, IN. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with hiring managers, and is passionate about creating a positive candidate experience.


In this role, you will serve as the primary recruiting operations partner for the client, coordinating hiring activities from requisition intake through onboarding. You will work closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless, efficient, and professional hiring process while supporting workforce planning and recruiting initiatives.


What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day recruiting operations for client hiring needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring logistics
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding
  • Partner directly with client stakeholders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
  • Maintain strong pipeline activity and candidate engagement to support staffing demands
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates against client requirements
  • Process and manage job requisitions and work orders with accuracy and urgency
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation activities
  • Track recruiting metrics and maintain applicant flow through sourcing and recruiting initiatives
  • Support payroll processing and workforce administration activities
  • Resolve hiring, onboarding, and employee-related issues in partnership with internal and client teams
  • Conduct regular onsite engagement with client leadership to ensure service excellence
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, hiring procedures, and customer requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills


Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience working in staffing, manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume hiring environments
  • HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)

Work Environment or Working Conditions

Further, this job may require occasional presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments. Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-temperature-controlled environments to GMP clean room required.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours
