Job description

Build the Team That Builds Houston.
At TRIO Electric, our people are our competitive advantage. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to help build the workforce behind some of Houston's most complex commercial electrical projects.
This isn't a traditional recruiting coordinator role.
You'll be at the center of our Talent Acquisition team driving recruiting operations, creating an exceptional candidate experience, building talent pipelines, analyzing hiring data, and helping us continuously improve how we attract and hire great people.
If you're energized by solving problems, building relationships, leveraging data, and creating world-class hiring experiences, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Create an Outstanding Candidate Experience
You'll be the face of TRIO throughout the hiring process, ensuring every candidate has a professional, timely, and welcoming experience from first conversation through their first day.
  • Coordinate interviews, hands-on testing, and hiring logistics
  • Communicate with candidates throughout every stage of the hiring process
  • Manage offers, pre-employment activities, and onboarding coordination
  • Deliver a hiring experience that reflects TRIO's culture and values
Build Talent Pipelines
Great hiring doesn't happen by accident.
You'll proactively identify talent, engage candidates, and build relationships that keep our recruiting pipeline strong.
  • Source candidates using job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
  • Conduct outreach through phone, text, email, and social platforms
  • Re-engage previous applicants and passive talent
  • Support recruiters with sourcing for priority positions
Own Recruiting Operations
You'll help keep our recruiting engine running efficiently.
  • Maintain candidate activity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screens, assessments, and onboarding documentation
  • Ensure recruiting data is accurate, organized, and compliant
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and efficiency
Turn Data Into Decisions
You enjoy working with numbers as much as people.
  • Produce weekly recruiting reports and hiring dashboards
  • Track recruiting metrics including pipeline health, hiring activity, and source effectiveness
  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements
  • Help leadership make informed workforce planning decisions
Support Recruiting Events & Community Partnerships
Help TRIO build the next generation of electricians and construction professionals.
  • Coordinate hiring events and career fairs
  • Support partnerships with trade schools and workforce organizations
  • Represent TRIO within the community
  • Help strengthen our long-term talent pipeline
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, or human resources
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences
  • Experience with recruiting metrics, reporting, or analytics is highly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, are a plus
Why TRIO?
At TRIO, you'll join a company that's growing, investing in its people, and transforming the way we recruit and develop talent.
You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Build recruiting processes that make a lasting impact
  • Work alongside leaders who value innovation and continuous improvement
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and operational leaders
  • Develop expertise in recruiting operations, analytics, and workforce planning
  • Help build the workforce behind some of Houston's most recognizable commercial construction projects

If you're looking for more than an administrative recruiting role and want to help build something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
