Job description

Our client is seeking experienced Loan Operations professionals to support a post-merger operational backlog. Following a recent acquisition, the bank’s operations team is working to stabilize and catch up on increased volume across commercial and mortgage loan portfolios. This role will serve as a staff augmentation resource focused on supporting commercial loan documentation, post-close quality review, and mortgage loan processing functions.

The goal is to help reduce backlog, improve accuracy, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support end-to-end commercial loan documentation processing Perform post-close loan file reviews and quality control checks Assist with mortgage loan processing and operational workflow support Identify documentation gaps, errors, and exceptions for resolution Help reduce operational backlog and improve turnaround time SLAs Ensure adherence to banking regulations, internal policies, and audit standards Partner with internal loan operations teams to stabilize post-merger workflows Required Experience & Skills Strong experience in commercial loan documentation and/or mortgage loan processing Hands-on experience with post-close review / quality assurance in loan operations Prior experience within a banking or financial institution required Systems experience preferred with: LaserPro Encompass Fiserv Precision (core banking system) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-volume environments Solid understanding of loan compliance and documentation standards Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
