Unlike full-time executives, they provide their expertise to multiple companies simultaneously, often focusing on strategic leadership, operational improvements, or specific projects. This arrangement allows businesses to access top-level executive skills without committing to a full-time salary, making it cost-effective for startups and small to mid-sized companies. Hourly fractional executives can fill roles such as CFO, CMO, COO, or CTO as needed.
