Legal Records Coordinator

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proficiency in filing, data entry, and managing paperwork
  • Experience maintaining and updating legal or correctional records accurately
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring records reflect accurate information and tracking infractions that affect parole or good time
  • Ability to correspond professionally with internal departments and out-of-state legal partners
  • Capable of tracking progress reports and managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of handling sensitive legal and personal information securely

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Familiarity with parole procedures, legal terminology, and handling legal inquiries is preferred
  • Experience in corrections, legal, or government agencies: especially in parole, probation, or inmate records
  • Prior work in a clerical or administrative role: ideally within a legal or criminal justice setting
  • Knowledge of criminal justice system: particularly parole processes and inmate behavior tracking
