Job Title:       Records Management Specialist III

Location:       Denver, CO (on-site)     

Overview

CompTech is seeking a Records Management Specialist III to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

In this role, you will provide records and docket management support, maintain electronic records systems, and help ensure compliance with federal records management policies and procedures. Working under the direction of a Records/Information Manager, you will support records management operations without supervisory responsibilities.

Scope of work

  • Support records and docket management activities in accordance with EPA and federal records management requirements.
  • Utilize automated information systems to maintain, organize, retrieve, and track records.
  • Provide technical support for records management programs, records centers, dockets, and other information services.
  • Assist with records management planning, program development, and analysis of records or docket management issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support ongoing records and information management needs.
  • Utilize the Institutional Control Tracking System (ICTS) to manage and track records and related activities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of records management experience.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology and connectivity issues.
  • Experience working with electronic records management systems.
  • NARA certification is desirable.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Salary Range: 

$55,000-$60,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k)+.
