Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced PowerApps Developer Senior to support the maintenance, enhancement, design, development, and documentation of business applications using Microsoft PowerApps and the broader Power Platform suite.

The selected candidate will maintain a suite of previously developed applications, build new PowerApps solutions, support Power Automate workflows, maintain low-code/no-code QuickBase applications, integrate external systems and data sources, and provide technical support for application-related requests. This role requires strong experience in PowerApps development, front-end development, API integrations, enterprise application support, documentation, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or within a small team, manage assigned priorities, document processes, and deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable application solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, maintain, and document PowerApps applications.
  • Develop applications independently or as part of a small technical team.
  • Design and implement Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, and business process flows.
  • Create and configure workflows, business process automation, and integration solutions using Power Automate.
  • Integrate low-code solutions with external systems, third-party APIs, databases, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Maintain and enhance existing low-code/no-code QuickBase applications.
  • Customize HTML pages using the QuickBase API and standard QuickBase interface.
  • Maintain existing data feeds to third-party vendors.
  • Create, maintain, and support ETL processes as needed.
  • Manage assigned workload and support urgent troubleshooting or priority requests.
  • Participate in weekly discussions regarding critical tasks, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, technical work plans, process documentation, and knowledge management materials.
  • Prepare draft and final program or project plans when needed, including tasks, subtasks, dependencies, resource requirements, schedules, and milestone dates.
  • Support application tracking, issue resolution, documentation, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure work products are properly documented and maintained in an annual cycle workplan or similar documentation structure.
  • Support application development, maintenance, enhancement, testing, and production support activities.
  • Follow established security, access, documentation, and development procedures.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of professional IT, software development, application development, or related technical experience.
  • 11+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and RESTful services.
  • 11+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable enterprise applications.
  • 11+ years of experience debugging and troubleshooting complex front-end issues.
  • 11+ years of proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • 6+ years of experience with UI/UX principles and translating wireframes into functional web interfaces.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining PowerApps applications.
  • Strong experience with Power Platform tools, including PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud flows, desktop flows, business process flows, workflows, and business process automation.
  • Experience integrating applications with third-party APIs and external data sources.
  • Experience optimizing web applications for performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of information flow, database fundamentals, application architecture, and technical requirements documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite 3–4 days per week in Washington, DC.
  • Ability to participate in an in-person interview and complete a performance test if required.

  • 6+ years of SQL experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with database design, documentation, and coding.

  • Experience working with confidential systems, restricted networks, or sensitive operational data.
Other Requirements
  • The selected candidate must be available to meet with the designated application manager within one working day after the start of the engagement.
  • The selected candidate must establish organized processes and systems for project tracking, knowledge management, and application support.
  • Complete documentation of processes and work activities must be maintained.
  • Background check and fingerprinting are required.
  • The selected candidate may access confidential documents, data, reports, systems, and restricted network environments.
  • Duties may involve access to a private, filtered network and sensitive operational information.
