Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QuickBase Consultant to support the development, modernization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise QuickBase applications. This role is responsible for reviewing, documenting, analyzing, developing, and supporting the agency''s QuickBase rapid application development and prototyping framework while ensuring solutions align with business and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in QuickBase application architecture, custom application development, dashboards, reporting, and business process analysis, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, document, analyze, develop, and support the agency''s QuickBase rapid application development and prototyping framework
  • Design, develop, and implement custom QuickBase applications to support business operations
  • Develop dashboards, reports, forms, workflows, and QuickBase customizations
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Document business processes, workflows, and system architecture
  • Support modernization and enhancement of existing QuickBase applications
  • Evaluate business needs and recommend appropriate QuickBase solutions
  • Develop scalable application architectures supporting web and mobile platforms
  • Research and evaluate technology solutions and implementation strategies
  • Support Rapid Application Development (RAD) initiatives and iterative solution delivery
  • Work with large and complex datasets to support operational reporting and business processes
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a cross-functional environment
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during application development and implementation
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system documentation
  • Support implementation activities and transition from current-state to future-state solutions
  • Identify innovative solutions to complex business and technical challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 16+ years of progressive consulting leadership experience providing full lifecycle services in enterprise environments
  • 16+ years of experience managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Expert-level experience in QuickBase application design and development
  • Expert-level experience documenting business processes and workflows
  • Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with business goals
  • Experience delivering scalable application architecture supporting web and mobile platforms
  • Experience with web technologies and mobile application design
  • Experience with Database as a Service (DaaS)
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • 16+ years of experience researching and evaluating technology solutions and implementation strategies
  • 16+ years of experience solving complex business and technical problems independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical and business documentation skills
