Job description

This Administrator will mainly be supporting this end client that is in the process of transitioning ownership of the QuickBase platform from another business unit. This project will be focused on optimizing workflows, data management, and IAM for the QuickBase platform, therefore this Admin must be an expert with the main backend functions of the QuickBase platform from an administrative perspective along with a developmental mindset for development career progression down the line. QUICKBASE ADMINISTRATOR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must posses a minimum of 4 years of experience with QuickBase platform (administration experience mainly but will also accept development experience within the platform as well)
  • Knowledge of relational database design and the software development lifecycle from conception to deployments
  • Familiarity with database design / relational database designing processes and procedures
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration tools specifically within QuickBase
  • General knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom page development coding processes and procedures (professional development experience is not absolutely needed but knowledge and experience reviewing code is needed)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively use data for strategy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere

QUICKBASE ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the company's QuickBase solutions
  • Ongoing administration of cloud business systems with a focus on no code solutions
  • User management, role assignment, and security configuration across all applications
  • System monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning
  • Establishing data integrations between QuickBase and IPaaS solutions
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning
  • License management and cost optimization
    Development Functions:
  • Designing and creating new applications and features
  • Reviewing and interpreting existing or new business processes and creating design specifications working alongside stakeholders and project managers
  • Translation of business requirements and process documentation into technical requirements, solution design, and reporting design
  • Custom workflow development and automation implementation
  • Develop and implement custom pages using both the QuickBase API as well as regular functionality
  • Taking ownership, investigating, and working to resolve complex bugs and addressing issues with the company's QuickBase solutions
