Job description

We are seeking a Controller that will plan and direct the accounting, financial reporting, and business administrative operations of the company. This role will have a broad scope of responsibilities across the accounting function and have visibility across the organization. The individual must demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply accounting principles, provide meaningful analysis and feedback on a broad array of corporate matters and have excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and work directly with all financial departments to closely monitor the day to day financial activities, processes and procedures including Accounting, Billing, Cash Receipts, Accounts Payable, Credit and Collections, Project Management and Inventory Management within our SAP Business One ERP system and supporting applications to ensure compliance with Company policies.
· Act as liaison between system users and system providers across all financial platforms including SAP Business One, Paychex, QuickBase and WMS LISA Inventory/Warehouse Management.
· Act as Project Coordinator working closely with the Industrial team and with consultants and software providers for the successful development and implementation of all new financial systems and applications.
· Working directly with the heads of all Company business lines to evaluate processes, improve efficiencies and assist with business development.
· Recommend and establish benchmarks that will be used to measure the company?s performance.
· Provide support to Accounting with the monthly financial statement preparation, financial analysis, comparative analysis and other management reports.
· Work with and act as point of contact with our external CPA auditors providing information for the annual audit.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government filing and regulatory requirements.
