ECS Purchasing Department facilitates a positive customer experience by having the right product, in the right place, at the right time. This is an Entry-Level role, great experience for active college students or recently graduated college students.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Submit Daily Purchase Orders for Assigned Suppliers
  • Follow-Up on Open Orders for Tracking and Invoice Information
  • Follow-Up on Back Orders for Updated Availability
  • Verify Price, Delivery and Open PO ETA Accuracy
  • Communicate Order Updates to Sales, Product, and Marketing Teams
  • Review and Expedite Product to Maintain In-Stock Availability
  • Obtain Credits for Short-Shipped Products
  • Provide Resolution for Invoice Discrepancies

What Success Looks Like:
  • Providing a positive customer experience by maintaining availability goals and finding alternatives for unavailable products.
  • Honest and transparent communication creating win-win partnerships between our customers, associates, and vendors.
  • Collaboration with other departments and suppliers to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, extra parts, etc within the respective SLAs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and take active measures towards resolution independently, while collaborating with other team members, departments and vendors when appropriate.
  • Display the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback as a means of professional development.
