Purchasing Assistant

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement and inventory functions. This is a great opportunity for someone with administrative, office support, customer service, or purchasing experience who enjoys working with vendors, tracking orders, and keeping processes organized.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with obtaining pricing and quotes from vendors.
  • Create and process purchase orders and vendor paperwork.
  • Follow up with vendors regarding order status and delivery schedules.
  • Research new vendors and help set up vendor accounts.
  • Maintain vendor records and electronic files.
  • Assist with subcontractor and vendor onboarding documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help reorder supplies as needed.
  • Process daily material requests and receiving information.
  • Purchase office supplies, tools, equipment, and other business-related items.
  • Track shipments and confirm timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain organized purchasing and job files.
  • Update purchasing records and databases.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of administrative, office support, customer service, purchasing, or related experience preferred.
