About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our growing procurement team. Working closely with a team of five experienced Buyers, this role provides essential administrative and data entry support to ensure smooth purchasing operations.

This position is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in procurement, buying, or logistics, offering hands-on exposure to purchasing systems, processes, and high-volume workflows.


Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry & Order Processing
  • Accurately process high volumes of purchasing and order data using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Email & Communication Management
  • Manage a high-volume inbox (approximately 50–60 emails per day) and handle occasional inbound phone calls.
  • System & Data Maintenance
  • Enter, update, and track purchasing information within the AS400 ERP system.
  • Administrative & Team Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the purchasing team, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely completion of tasks.
  • Workflow & Priority Management
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet daily deadlines.
