MaxAir Mechanical is one of the premier Atlanta commercial HVAC service companies which exists for customers to provide service, design-retrofit, and control solutions that achieve the most operationally efficient HVAC systems. MAXAIR provides complete HVAC and HVAC control systems maintenance, emergency services and major project work to a broad range of commercial, industrial, and public sector clients


Job summary
In this position you will be responsible for building your own client list. This role consists of cold calling, prospecting, and having a "hunter" mentality. This role IS NOT responsible for maintaining relationships with clients/customers.


You will be primarily self-directed so you need internal disciple to self-manage your activity. Most of your time will be spent prospecting for new maintenance agreement customers by cold-calling, dropping in, networking, attending industry events, and so on. You will be actively seeking potential customers who need and value what we provide (preventive maintenance agreements). Once you move someone from suspect to prospect, you will prepare the agreement proposal and close the business. After you close the business, you will turn the new customer over to an internal account manager and restart the process.

  • MUST have a successful track record of finding, qualifying, and closing new business primarily through cold calls and self-generated leads
  • Be an aggressive hunter, prospecting, cold call position. Lots of phone calls, emails, LinkedIn invites. 4-6 meetings/week. 1 agreement contract per week
  • Have prior success in making presentations to prospective customers with strong ability to sell value in a persuasive manner
  • Be able to quickly form relationships and build trust
  • Be professional in demeanor, operating as the one point of contact for any and all matters specific to your prospects
  • Be flexible, able to adapt to different situations with ease
  • Be an intelligent creative problem solver
  • Have a track record of being organized, efficient, and able to manage a high number of suspects and prospects at different stages of the sales funnel
  • Must not be conflict adverse. You need strong skill sets in managing conflicts that result in a stronger relationship
  • Must be trainable, coachable, and willing to learn through success and failure
  • HVAC knowledge is not required but beneficial

Pay and Benefits

  • 1st year is a relaxed office requirement based on activity. Start each day in the office but if you have a prospect call or survey, you can leave that day from your home/office
  • Hybrid after first year or sooner based on consistent performance but office exposure still suggested
  • Base salary + commission on new sales & performance based bonuses
  • Monthly vehicle allowance is also provided
  • 7 paid holidays and paid time off that escalates with tenure
