Cooperidge Consulting Firm

Full-time

Posted 28 days ago

Job description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a global leader in aesthetic medical devices, Alma Lasers.
This is a high-octane, "Hunter" role designed for an elite closer who can manage a seven-figure sales quota. You will be responsible for driving market expansion across the region, focusing on the sale of advanced capital equipment to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and private aesthetic practices. This role demands more than technical proficiency; it requires the ability to create and close "emotional sales" opportunities while navigating a 60% regional travel schedule. If you are a high-energy professional with a background in capital equipment or high-activity B2B sales (ADP, Cintas, Xerox), this is a premier opportunity to enter the lucrative aesthetic med-tech market.
Job Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed a high-volume, seven-figure sales quota within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Full-Cycle Closing: Lead prospects through the entire sales journey-from aggressive cold calling and lead generation to high-stakes closing.
  • Clinical Demonstrations: Perform hands-on product demonstrations, showcasing technical features, clinical efficacy, and ROI pricing models to physicians.
  • Emotional Selling: Identify and leverage emotional drivers in the sales process to convert hesitant prospects into committed partners.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with key medical specialists, including Dermatologists, OB/GYNs, and Urologists.
  • Collaborative Mentorship: Support and mentor Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) in closing complex deals and sharing regional best practices.
  • Field Representation: Travel 60% of the time to physician offices, medical spas, and major industry conventions to represent the brand.
  • CRM Discipline: Maintain rigorous pipeline documentation and provide weekly/quarterly reports via Salesforce.

Requirements
Experience & Sales DNA
  • Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience is REQUIRED.
  • Target Backgrounds: Experience in medical capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser technology is preferred. We also highly value "high-grind" B2B backgrounds (e.g., Paychex, Cintas, Tom James, Gallo Wines).
  • Proven Performance: A documented track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Technical & Soft Skills
  • Objection Mastery: Demonstrated ability to overcome clinical and financial objections and convert them into sales.
  • Aptitude: High technical and clinical aptitude; ability to retain and communicate large volumes of product data.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong multitasking ability to manage time-sensitive tasks across a large territory.
  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • High Mobility: 60% travel required within the region.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move equipment (occasionally up to 80 lbs).

Benefits
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance plans
  • Life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement
