Crane Operator:
The positions are diverse, and job duties may vary daily. Candidates may be required to operate different types of equipment cranes, loaders, semi/ hotshots etc.
Under direct supervision, perform oil field related services and tasks in accordance with 3Forks Services, Safety, and Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) requirements. This includes wearing and using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by 3Forks Services, OSHA, Customers, and any other local, state, or federal regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has no supervisory duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Operate mobile cranes on various locations in a safe and effective manner.
  • Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standards.
  • Closely interact with crew members on job tasks and safety accountability
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to crew members.
  • Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Complete necessary documentation, and reporting
  • Lead the JSA process with active participation from crew members.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid commercial driver's license
• Equipment Operator training and certificate from National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2-year previous oilfield experience
• 1-year mobile hydraulic crane operating experience
• Winter weather driving experience in a CMV
• PEC - Safeland and/or OSHA 10 - Must have proof of training.
• PEC - H2S Clear and/or H2S Awareness - Must have proof of training
