Job description

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT: Responsible for all loading and blending operations at the location level.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operation of Computer controlled liquid loading system

Operation of manual and air-actuated valve loading systems

Knowledge of fertilizer analysis and ability to create blends to meet customer needs

Inventory management and communication

Knowledge of Crop Protection products and their ability to mix with fertilizer products

Skid Steer operation and loading responsibility in the dry plant

Maintenance and care of all facilities and equipment within the plant

Management of work orders to efficiently complete jobs for customers

Assist other departments or location as needed

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

Associates degree or further education beneficial

REQUIREMENTS

Math skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills to include specific and detailed information pertinent to location manager, area manager, sales team, operations team or customers. 

Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Able to work seasonal hours that require overtime and weekends to accomplish work goals indoors and outdoors.

Able to move/lift 50 lbs.

Ability to demonstrate/operate a forklift and skid steer safely
