Job description

Our company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Plant Operator. As part of our production team, you will oversee a wide variety of daily plant operations, personally controlling machinery and equipment via a centralized control unit or direct controls. In addition to ensuring smooth operations, you will also schedule maintenance for equipment and perform minor repairs. This position requires you to have mathematical proficiency, mechanical skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. On-job site training provided.

Plant Operator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control and manipulate machinery and equipment
  • Schedule worn or malfunctioning equipment for repairs
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance as necessary
  • Loading and unloading trucks
