About The Role
The Project Planner is responsible for processing new home starts, while ensuring the accuracy of submittals and managing the timely release of homes to achieve company goals. This position works closely with Division Presidents, Construction teams, and other departments, providing essential support and maintaining key processes for successful project execution.
What You'll Do
  • Foster, build, and maintain relationships with municipalities and developers, regularly meeting and traveling to maintain strong, collaborative partnerships.
  • Manage and process new home starts for assigned markets, ensuring all required steps are completed efficiently.
  • Strategically evaluate the processing of new home starts to achieve company goals and establish an even flow of releases.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and achieve shared goals.
  • Identify issues and find effective solutions to maintain progress of new home starts.
  • Review and maintain NHS tools, such as the Community Matrix, How-To guides, and Site Planner Matrix, to reflect up-to-date community requirements.

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Requires at least 1 -2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
