Construction Accountant

Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite to Start | Hybrid After Training)

$80,000-$100,000 Base Salary + Bonus Potential


Join a growing construction company with over 15 years of success as they continue to expand their operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with Procore Financials and construction accounting.


What You'll Do

  • Own project financial administration from contract setup through project closeout.
  • Create and manage client, subcontractor, and vendor contracts in Procore Financials.
  • Manage the integration between Procore Financials and QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate financial data flow.
  • Support job costing by monitoring project expenses, reviewing allocations, and ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Manage conditional and unconditional lien waivers for vendor contracts.
  • Partner with project managers and accounting to maintain accurate project financials.
  • Support multiple contract structures while ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.
  • Help refine and improve Procore Financials processes as implementation continues.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project accounting experience in construction, construction management, subcontracting, or a related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Procore Financials (required).
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and its integration with Procore.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, contract administration, vendor billing, and lien waivers.
  • Experience with Expensify and Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
