Job description

We're looking for an Associate Strategic Product Consultant (Procore Trainer) to support the specialization of our Project Execution product line for our General Contractor customers. In this role, you'll leverage your consultative-mindset and knowledge of the real estate development and construction industry and Procore's software platforms to provide General Contractor clients with best practices on utilizing the systems.
As an Associate Strategic Product Consultant (Procore Trainer), you'll partner with Project Managers and Customer Success Engineers to supplement client training with technical knowledge of cloud-based software and Procore platform expertise. Successful candidates are technology enthusiasts and promoters of modernizing the construction industry.
This position reports to the Manager, Strategic Product Consulting, General Contractors. While this is a remote position, we require candidates to be based in the Eastern Standard Time zone specifically in the Greater New York City, Boston, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh area.

This position requires heavy travel (approximately 75% or 3 weeks per month) to client sites, industry events, and other Procore offices. Travel includes both domestic and international destinations.
What you'll do:

  • Work with Project Managers to develop clients into Procore experts and evangelists through training

  • Leverage knowledge of the real estate development and construction industry to improve client business processes in Procore and across the client's entire organization

  • Provide the highest level of service and education to Procore's clients through clear and effective communication

  • Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices and drive Procore's evolution as a market leader

  • Develop a mastery of Procore's product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and Customer Success best practices


What we're looking for:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry looking to transition into a fast-paced software consulting and advisory role

  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Sr. Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager

  • Experience managing project construction, including bidding, procurement, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, documents and schedule, quality control and safety

  • Experience training on established SOPs preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation & Location Differential

The base salary and on-target earnings ranges displayed in the primary job posting fields reflect the market range for our highest-cost location (New York City). However, we are hiring across multiple markets for this role. Final compensation is determined by geographic location, alongside a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and training.

The localized compensation breakdown for our target hiring locations is as follows:

  • New York City: Base Pay Range: $84,456 - $116,127 | On-Target Earnings Range: $99,360 - $136,620

  • Boston: Base Pay Range: $78,581 - $108,049 | On-Target Earnings Range: $92,448 - $127,116

  • Philadelphia & Pittsburgh: Base Pay Range: $73,440 - $100,980 | On-Target Earnings Range: $86,400 - $118,800
