Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our Clark IT team as a Procore Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, continuous improvement, administration, and support of our Procore Platform. This role will ensure that the platform is effectively utilized to streamline project management processes, improve communication, and enhance overall project efficiency.
The Procore Administrator will provide technical support, training, and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.This is an onsite role in our McLean, VA office that will require occasional travel.

Core Responsibilities

  • Implementation and Configuration: Manage enterprise-wide rollout of Procore updates. Oversee the initial setup and configuration of Procore for new projects. Customize Procore modules and workflows to meet project-specific requirements. Integrate Procore with other software systems used by the company as needed.

  • User Support and Training: Provide ongoing technical support to all Procore users. Develop and Conduct training sessions for new users and ongoing training for existing users. Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and best practice documentation. Create custom reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • System Maintenance and Updates: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay updated on Procore updates and new features, implementing changes as necessary. Ensure data integrity and consistency within the Procore platform and through its integration workflows.

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement. Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures within Procore. Analyze project data and generate reports to support decision making.

  • Administration, Compliance, and Security: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding data and project documentation. Manage user access and permissions to maintain system security. Configure and maintain Procore settings to optimize company and project level workflows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience administering construction project management software.

  • Proficiency in using Procore construction management software.

  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows and documentation.

  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot software issues.

  • Experience with software integration and customization.

  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.

  • Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions and create instructional materials.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in office tools like Microsoft Office or Google Office suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.

  • Certification: Procore Certified

The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

The Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, you'll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required.

Your Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.

Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $45,000-$140,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
