About the Role
The Construction Office Coordinator will support administrative, project, invoice, and compliance processes for construction operations. This position works closely with the Office Manager, project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure documentation is accurate, timelines are supported, and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
What You'll Do
This role supports daily construction office operations by reviewing invoices, tickets, reports, and project documentation for accuracy; coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams; assisting with SCDOT paperwork, change orders, traffic control plans, material certifications, backlog updates, crew time entries, and quantity verification; and helping resolve discrepancies to keep projects moving smoothly.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing invoices, reports, tickets, quantities, and project documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills and confidence working with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, ask questions, and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, email, document systems, and standard office technology.
  • Experience in construction administration, project coordination, accounting support, dispatch, materials, or a related office role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SCDOT projects, asphalt operations, construction documentation, change orders, or material certifications is a plus.
