Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Office Assistant to support daily office operations. This role will assist with filing, payroll hour tracking, audit preparation, phone coverage, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is professional, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction office environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and take messages in a professional manner
  • File and organize office records (paper and digital)
  • Assist with payroll hour entry and timekeeping support
  • Help prepare and organize documentation for audits (payroll, insurance, union, etc.)
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Support office staff with administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and company documents
  • Assist with general office organization and day-to-day operations
Qualifications
  • Prior administrative or office assistant experience required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
