We’re seeking a Vice President to take the reins of our St. Louis-based operation, overseeing and building a strong pipeline of regional retail work. You’ll have the autonomy, team, and trust to drive strategy, mentor talent, and build iconic spaces that serve communities across the Midwest.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all retail construction operations: from preconstruction to closeout

  • Oversee multiple project teams and PMs across new construction and major renovations

  • Build and maintain client relationships with national brands, developers, and brokers

  • Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and field leadership to ensure successful project delivery

  • Shape hiring, training, and mentoring programs to grow future leaders

  • Influence strategic decisions around markets, delivery models, and team structure

  • Report directly to ownership with full visibility and support


What You Bring to the Table

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial construction, including 5+ years leading retail or commercial rollouts

  • Proven success managing teams across multiple concurrent projects

  • Deep relationships in the retail development world are a strong plus

  • Exceptional leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication skills

  • Familiarity with tools like Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Excel
