Job description

Backroad Construction is growing, and we’re looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and confident working with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers. You’ll be the first point of contact for new projects and play a key role in setting each job up for success.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage incoming leads and guide clients through the pre-construction process
  • Perform site visits, take measurements, and gather project details
  • Create accurate estimates, scopes of work, and material takeoffs
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and availability
  • Build project files, budgets, and schedules in our construction software
  • Prepare homeowner proposals and assist with contract execution
  • Work closely with the owner and field team to ensure smooth project handoff
  • Maintain organized documentation and clear communication throughout pre-construction

  • Experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, or a related field
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
