Job description

Wilen is driven by industry-leading agency services and cutting-edge direct mail production. We provide strategic direct marketing solutions for national brands, leveraging innovative variable data technology, to turn concepts into finished digital and physical products, all in one seamless process.


We are currently seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join our growing Postal Operations team. As a Postal Operations Coordinator, you will maintain verification by planning, monitoring, and improving performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management.


· QC Mail.dats (eDocs), generate/print the tray tags and pallet flags for the manufacturing departments. QC/Adjust dates, Permits, CRIDS, Caps Reference to the MPA

· Produce pallet flags for skids & tags for trays

· Zip down Mail.dat from Mail.DB for upload to PostalOne! (P1)

· Suppress records/Split Mail.dats

· Run mail.dat through Postage.DB to compare postage amounts to internal systems.

· Postage breakdowns

· Combine multiple presort batches (mail.dat files) into One mail.dat to QC/Edit/Upload

· Update all Entry Lists in folders

· Assign/Optimize Entry Points

· As Marked EP’s Report for shipping freight estimates


Mail Tracking

· Use internal software to track and report (in conjunction with USPS Informed Delivery), when necessary, IM barcode piece scans

· Utilize tracking reports when issues arise to determine delivery status

· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities w/local post offices; reading professional publications; Webex/MTAC meetings, participating in professional surrounding organizations

· View Inkjet Schedule daily to keep up with completed jobs and current jobs working throughout the manufacturing facility

· Adjust in-home dates, verify dates, shipping dates and postage amounts (if necessary) in various internal systems

· Printing and Formatting of Pallets Flags and Tray Tags used by the USPS to move mail through their systems/facilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

· GED / High School diploma

· Familiarity with the USPS and how mail processes within their facilities and the guidelines pertaining to Rules and Regulations of the USPS.

· Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with printing or mailing industry.

· Knowledge of Mail.dats/Presort.

· Ability to utilize basic computer software applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and UltraEdit, and SharePoint is a plus.

· Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

· Ability to follow directions, processes, and procedures.

· Ability to adapt to a constantly changing workflow, process, and procedures.
