The Business Performance Improvement (BPI) practice is seeking aDirectorto join our growing Financial Services team.

Directors develop lasting relationships within the business community and are respected for their areas of expertise - shaping and executing enterprise process excellence strategy with executive stakeholders across banking, capital markets, and wealth and asset management clients.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.

  • Experience evaluating existing business processes, recommending enhancements, and implementing changes at scale, including building enterprise process inventories and repeatable process transformation playbooks.

  • Experienceassistingclients with managing change through the implementation of proposed recommendations.

  • Experience leading significant client checkpoint meetings related to project progress.

  • Experience leading transformational finance and accounting projects, including investor/fund performance reporting and month-end close optimization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships.

  • Experienceparticipatingin or leading business development opportunities.

  • Knowledge of finance strategy development and process improvement, including order-to-cash,procure-to-pay, and record-to-report.

  • Strong understanding of shared services and global business services design and implementation, including Target Operating Model (TOM) design, managed services, and offshoring advisory

  • Experience in robotic process automation and intelligent automation, outsourcing and offshoring advisory, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial close, consolidation, and reporting.

  • Proficiencywith process and task mining tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, andCelonis, and process mapping/BPMN tools such as SAPSignavio, IBMBlueworks, Nintex Process Manager, and Microsoft Visio.

  • Experience supporting accounting transitions, including lease accounting, revenue recognition, reconciliation, and restatement support.

  • Experience supervising teams, including performance appraisal,mentoringandcoaching,workoversight and review, cross-teamcoordination, and team member motivation.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technologyor Business-Related Field);Master's degree in Accountancyor related fieldisa plus.

  • 15+ years of experience leading teams within a consulting or financial services environment in one or more of: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementation, outsourcing advisory, and process/digital transformation.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office 365 suite applications.

  • Professional Certification such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar strongly preferred.

It is expected that you willresidewithin a reasonable daily commute of your assigned Protiviti home office by your start date. Protiviti employees work in a hybrid environment which means you willbe requiredto work from a variety of locations including your Protiviti home office, an in-town and/or out-of-town client site, and/or from a remote location such as your residence. It is expected that you will be available to be physically present at the required work location and that you will have access to reliable transportation.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$176,000.00 - $300,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$211,200.00 - $360,000.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
