Payroll Assistant (Bilingual Spanish Required)
Location: Corona, CA
Pay: $20-$22 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our growing team in Corona. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in administration and payroll support. Training will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.
Candidates must be local to the Corona area to be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative and office support to management and staff
  • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and report generation
  • Support payroll processing, including timecard collection and review
  • Assist with employee onboarding paperwork and personnel file maintenance
  • Track attendance, PTO requests, and employee records
  • Audit timecards for missing punches
  • Review EDD forms, VOE, 401k process, and pay disputs
  • Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  • 1+ months in payroll preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Corona daily
  • Payroll experience is a plus, but training is available
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
