Job description

As a Payment Systems Specialist at Airrosti, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's electronic payment processing systems, payment terminals, merchant services, and payment-related technologies. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal departments, banking partners, payment processors, and software vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient payment operations. In addition to payment systems, this position will assist with the support, implementation, and optimization of other business-critical applications as needed, providing opportunities to expand knowledge across multiple enterprise technologies.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, managing multiple priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously learning new systems and technologies. Essential Responsibilities Payment Systems Administration (Primary Responsibility): Support daily payment processing for credit, debit, HSA/FSA, and card-not-present transactions. Administer and support payment gateways and merchant services.

Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot payment terminals and payment applications. Investigate payment processing issues, settlement discrepancies, duplicate transactions, and payment posting issues. Coordinate merchant account setup, payment gateway configuration, and terminal provisioning.

Monitor payment system performance and assist with reconciliation and reporting. Collaborate with banking partners, payment processors, and software vendors to resolve payment-related issues. Participate in payment system implementations, upgrades, testing, and enhancements.

Develop and maintain payment documentation, procedures, and training materials. Vendor & Technical Support: Coordinate issue resolution between internal teams and external vendors. Track open issues through completion and communicate status updates.

Participate in vendor meetings and document action items. Assist with root cause analysis and continuous process improvement initiatives. Business Systems Support (Secondary Responsibility): As business needs evolve, assist with the support, implementation, testing, and optimization of additional enterprise applications, including but not limited to: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) - Raintree Airrosti App/Portal Airrosti Gateway Ambient Listening solutions- Heidi Scheduling and operational software Other applications and technology platforms Responsibilities may include: Troubleshooting application issues Assisting with software testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) Developing user documentation and training materials Supporting software implementations and enhancements Assisting with workflow analysis and process improvements Project Coordination: Assist with software implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Assisting with testing activities across departments. Track project milestones, risks, and outstanding issues. Maintain project documentation and status reports.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across business systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams throughout the organization, including: Operations Finance Revenue Cycle IT Software Development Clinical Services Patient Experience Regional Support External vendors and implementation partners Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years supporting payment systems, business applications, healthcare technology, or enterprise software.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Preferred Experience: Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Payment Systems Cybersource Wells Fargo Merchant Services Payment gateways and merchant services Payment terminal support (including PAX devices) PCI compliance Credit, debit, and card-not-present processing Business Applications Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Patient portals and mobile applications Ambient AI/Listening solutions Software implementations Vendor management Application administration Technical support Project management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: Troubleshoot technical and operational issues. Learn new software and technologies quickly.

Build strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Analyze business processes and recommend improvements. Create and maintain organized documentation. Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
