Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Business DevelopmentOVERVIEW
The North America Commercial business continues to be a priority segment for MasterCard Globally and the U.S. Large Market segment is a key contributor to the overall success of the Commercial business. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand our relationship with existing MasterCard customers. Responsibilities include: analyzing Large Market portfolios to identify portfolio trends, developing best practices and marketing collateral, writing white papers, speaking at industry events and working directly with end corporates. Additionally, this position will work with the Marketing and Platform teams to identify opportunities to improve the MasterCard Large Market value propositions, participate in research projects that will drive insights into cardholder behavior and partner with the Global Commercial teams to understand regional applications of Global products and platforms.
Responsibilities
Supports team to deliver against business targets for Mastercard from new business and existing customers
Influences Customer account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations
Supports project execution across all business functions including business development, advertising, marketing and product management
Provides insight in the analysis of customer's business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
Participates in business conversations with key decision makers internally and externally
Acts as a project manager and key end-to-end resource lead on small to mid-sized projects
Partners with the sales teams, internal partners and key stakeholders to provide support to sales in a region
Develops and maintains strong working relationships, working closely with cross-functional partners within the regions
Experiences
Moderate professional experience in financial services, cards, payments or another related field
Understands Mastercard's Sales Discipline Framework
Experience creating ppt decks

Business experience with related sales and management experience in the payments industry
Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing complex, competitive sales effort and project management
Excellent strategic thinking, communication and analysis skills and a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue
Ability to manage and grow internal and external cross functional relationships and partnerships

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
