Job Responsibilities:  Maintain accounts receivable including all Medicaid reimbursement responsibilities, responsible for credentialing of all clinical employees

Job Duties:

  1. Prepare accounts receivable adjustments.
  2. Input approved bad debt write-off’s quarterly.
  3. Enter financial data, fee and address changes, Medicaid and Medicare updates.
  4. Responsible for contact with all third-party payers.  Notify supervisor when third party payments are not made as scheduled (EAP’s, Medicare, PaSRR, etc.)
  5. Prepare weekly denial reports.
  6. Prepare monthly reports.
  7. Process Core Data for new/reopen/currently active
  8. Input Accounts Receivable billing as needed.
  9. Bill client’s private insurance.
  10. Process Medicaid voids.
  11. Set up with new doctors, therapists, and nurses for insurance billing.
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Bookkeeping Experience
  3. Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
