How does a Partner Operations professional typically collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive mutual success?

In a Partner Operations role, you’ll act as a bridge between your company and its partners, working closely with internal teams such as sales, account management, and product to ensure seamless communication and execution. This collaborative environment offers opportunities to learn from multiple departments while making a direct impact on partner satisfaction and business growth.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Partner Operations professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Partner Operations professional, you need strong analytical skills, business acumen, and experience in managing partner relationships, often supported by a degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms (like Salesforce), data analysis tools (such as Excel or Tableau), and workflow management systems is common. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and cross-functional collaboration are vital soft skills in this role. These capabilities ensure efficient partner onboarding, optimize operational processes, and drive successful partnerships that support business growth.

Job description

PetInsuranceQuotes.com helps connect pet owners with insurance options through a growing network of veterinary clinics, breeders, and other pet industry partners. As part of a group of affiliated companies focused on digital marketing and customer acquisition, you'll work alongside the broader VOGLIO team while helping support and grow the PetInsuranceQuotes.com partner network.
This is a hands-on operations role responsible for maintaining inventory, physically fulfilling and shipping partner marketing materials, supporting conferences and events, and helping create a great experience for partners and customers. You'll work across fulfillment, logistics, customer support, and partner engagement while helping keep a growing partner network running smoothly.
If you're organized, proactive, and enjoy being the person who keeps things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the fulfillment and inventory of marketing collateral, including preparing, packing, shipping, and organizing materials for partner organizations
  • Coordinate conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other partner-facing events, including logistics, materials, and on-site support
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast replenishment needs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure materials remain available
  • Monitor and respond to customer and partner inquiries in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner.
  • Support partner outreach efforts, including identifying prospective partners, engaging with potential partner organizations, and helping grow the partner network
  • Help improve and scale operational processes as the business continues to grow
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience with business partners in operations, logistics, fulfillment, customer support, administrative support, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work independently
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, suppliers, customers, or external partners
  • Experience using business systems, spreadsheets, or e-commerce platforms to manage workflows and track information
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel for conferences and trade shows approximately 4-5 times per year, including occasional weekend travel
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping, or event coordination
  • Experience in the pet, veterinary, insurance, or related industries
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and research tools such as Claude or ChatGPT
What Makes This Role Unique
  • You'll have a mix of operational, logistical, customer-facing, and event-related responsibilities rather than focusing on a single function.
  • You'll be the primary owner of many of the day-to-day operations that keep the partner network running.
  • You'll be joining a team that is still building and refining processes, giving you the opportunity to help shape how the function evolves.
  • As the business grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional ownership and expand your scope.
Is This You?
  • You're highly organized and enjoy creating order from moving pieces
  • You take ownership of your work and follow through on details
  • You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and handling both administrative and hands-on operational work
  • You enjoy supporting customers and partners and helping create a positive experience
  • You're excited about joining a growing business and helping build something over time
