Job Summary: 

The Partner Operations Manager oversees operational execution and performance across multiple strategic partnerships within the Strategic Partnerships team. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining frameworks for partner program execution, ensuring consistency and compliance across all alliances. The Manager leads process optimization initiatives, manages financial coordination for partner-funded initiatives, and serves as the primary escalation point for Microsoft partnership operations. This role maintains dashboards, validates program analytics, and ensures readiness for audits. The Partner Operations Manager acts as a liaison between partners, internal teams, and finance, while mentoring team members and driving operational excellence.

Job Duties:

  • Oversees operational execution and performance across multiple strategic partnerships, primarily Microsoft. (others may include NetSuite, and UIPath)
  • Develops and maintains frameworks for partner program execution, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Serves as the primary escalation point for partnership operations and mentors the Partner Operations Associates
  • Ensures accurate and timely execution of partner program requirements, including PAL, CPOR, and BizApps CPOR for Microsoft and equivalent programs for other partners as assigned
  • Validates and tracks partner associations, incentive eligibility, and program analytics partnerships as assigned
  • Maintains and enhances dashboards for visibility into partner program status, fund allocations, and performance metrics
  • Oversees invoice creation, PO management, and fund tracking for all partner-funded initiatives
  • Liaises with finance and partner operations teams to ensure compliance with internal billing processes and partner compliance requirements
  • Continuously improves financial workflows, reducing redundancy and enhancing clarity
  • Leads process optimization initiatives for partner operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance systems for communication, tracking engagements and incentives
  • Identifies, proposes, and implements enhancements to reporting tools and operational trackers
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of internal resources, including guides, checklists, and process documentation
  • Supports readiness for audits and alignment of documentation with compliance standards
  • Acts as a liaison between partners, internal delivery teams, and finance to ensure alignment on program execution
  • Communicates program changes, operational updates, and escalations to relevant stakeholders
  • Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Mentors and supports the Partner Operations Associate(s) and other team members

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, required 
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Finance, preferred

Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in partner operations, strategic alliances, or program management, required
  • Experience managing multiple strategic partnerships, preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems and tools supporting partnership tracking and execution, required

License(s)/Certification(s)

  • System relevant partner certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce), preferred

Software

  • Proficiency with partner portals (e.g., Microsoft Partner Center), required
  • Experience with CRM systems and tools supporting partnership tracking and execution, required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, required

National Range: $95,000 - $130,000                                                                                                                                                         Maryland Range: $95,000 - $130,000
